What is the difference between a wet saw and a tile cutter?
A wet saw uses water and a powered blade to cut through the materiaL an can make a variety of cuts. A tile cutter is a dry machine used to score and snap the material and best used for straight cuts. iQ saws elminate the water and mess but still allow you the versatility to make all cuts.
Do you have to use a wet saw to cut tile?
No. You can use a snap cutter, grinder or a dry cut saw with an integrated vaccum system like the iQTS244 and/or iQ228CYCLONE.
Is a tile saw hard to use?
A tile saw can be easy to use, however, it does take time, care and finesse to use the tool to the best of its ability. The tool only works as good as the operator using it.
